How do I create a personalised scope and sequence for my student?

You can create a personalised scope and sequence by analysing your student’s data to determine what is secure and what needs to be taught.

Start with the LMIT example scope and sequence or another suitable intervention scope and sequence e.g. iDeaL Specialists Phase 1 scope and sequence. Using your student’s data, tick the items that are secure for both sound level (Decoding and Encoding Sounds in Isolation) and for word level (Spelling and Decoding Non-Word Syllable Types and Spelling Rules. The items that aren’t ticked will become your student’s personalised scope and sequence.

You’ll find an example of a personalised scope and sequence in the Case Study Exemplar in the Practicum Assessments tile in your LMIT course.
